DISCLAIMER! CONSTRUCTION NEXT DOOR: We will be building a new cabin (Borealis) next door to Aurora cabin this summer. The builder will be there during the weekdays 9-5. If this bothers you please book Ely Log Cabin instead. Weeknight prices at Aurora have been reduced to reflect this slight inconvenience to guests.

THE SPACE: With a skylight facing this north, this newly built Den Outdoors modern cabin is made for the Northern Lights viewer. Every detail is thoughtfully designed with a nod to Scandinavian design. Enjoy luxury in the Northwoods with in-floor heat, a beautifully tiled rain shower, a modern propane fireplace (hygge vibes), and a spiral staircase. Aurora Modern Cabin sits on 22 acres.

The kitchen has a full size oven, 4-burner electric stovetop, dishwasher, pots & pans, a toaster, an electric tea kettle, french press, and locally roasted coffee. Brew yourself a fresh cup of tea or locally roasted coffee and watch the sunset through the wall of windows.

1 full bed in the downstairs bedroom & 1 queen bed upstairs in the loft. Fall asleep gazing at the stars or Aurora Borealis through the skylight in the loft.

THE LOCATION: The Aurora Modern Cabin sits on 22 acres. The cabin is just a couple miles away from Bear Head Lake State Park and Vermillion State Park. 15 minute drive to the town of Ely for convenient shopping and dining.

PETS: We are dog friendly! The pet fee is $50. Max of 1 dog at Aurora cabin.

We ask that pets don’t go on the furniture or beds to respect those with allergies and help reduce wear and tear.

Please bring their dog bed and kennel and a towel to wipe their feet before they come back into the cabin.

Your pet MUST be crated if left alone in the cabin.

Please only bring your dog if they are well behaved. We want to keep the cabin pet friendly for future guests.

There have been wolves & coyotes in the area lately. Keep your dogs on a leash for their safety.
